Anytime you're able to come again, we would LOVE to have you!

The lady in the blue shirt is Lindi Peterson, WORD VP.

Our speaker that evening was Creston Mapes and he spoke on how to make a living at writing. A very informative and inspiring talk and discussion that followed.

If you all would like to learn more about WORD, please check out our website: www.acfwword.com. And if there are any questions I can answer for you, please let me know.Amy Wallacehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04055443444238664556noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8788224673098964284.post-71429343543901607372009-11-02T09:05:38.102-08:002009-11-02T09:05:38.102-08:00Wish I could make it to one of those myself, but i...Wish I could make it to one of those myself, but it's a 7 hour drive from the Memphis area.

That's a beautiful picture on the top of your Blog, thanks for asking me to follow you.

I enjoyed reading about your trip though and hope I'll run into you in Indeanapolis next year. I'm hoping to make it to that ACFW Natl Conference.

For Him,
Chris Solaas

creativeadventuring.blogspot.com
adhdfamilyfun.blogspot.comAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01741255295792269043noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8788224673098964284.post-69817270461559087592009-11-01T23:03:48.254-08:002009-11-01T23:03:48.254-08:00Hi Deborah,

Since you've shown it can be done, maybe I'll attend the next meeting! :) Do you live north or south of Buford? (I'm trying to determine if we live close enough to carpool!)

Your blog is awesome and I've signed up as a follower. I would be most appreciative if you would do the same for me. I don't have many followers either. But it does take time to get started and build a following.

Blessings,
Edwina Cowgill

www.musingsofedwina.blogspot.com
www.edwinacowgill.comEdwinahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06764445303008090045noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8788224673098964284.post-35186798984475336072009-11-01T22:38:39.928-08:002009-11-01T22:38:39.928-08:00I'm so glad you got to go to the meeting! Ours would be almost three hours away for me (without traffic), I don't have a car available plus I can't drive.

I recognize those names from ACFW. You have a very distinguished group. I'd be curious about your guest speaker too. What did you talk about?

Our group has been discussing The First Five Pages by Noah Lukeman and helping each other tweak the first parts of their manuscripts. At least that's part of what they do - I kind of get the footnotes because I don't get to go. lol Nobody lives this far out. They are trying to set up a sub group but it's still far away and I haven't found anyone who is driving by and willing to pick up a straggler. Someday. :o) My group leader always remembers and has asked people which I think is so kind.

Thank you for sharing the pics. I hope you make the next meeting too. I also look forward to your first book. :o)Margaret Metzhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12070144752258476825noreply@blogger.com
