FICTION WITH A TOUCH OF SOUTH! I have always loved butterflies. They are so beautiful, yet they have struggled to obtain that beauty. All the time, effort and struggle that it takes to go from caterpillar to butterfly is well worth the end result. I feel I am still in my caterpillar phase and I'm looking forward to someday being a butterfly! In the meantime I want to enjoy the journey. FICTION WITH A TOUCH OF SOUTH!

Treasures in the Woods
I hope you enjoy the pictures of these treasures I found on a trail in the North Georgia Mountains. The Lady Slippers are a rare wild flower that bloom only a short time in the Spring. I was thrilled to find these. Trillium (not sure if that is spelled correctly) is also a rare flower that grows in the wild - although it is not as rare as the Lady Slipper. This particular patch of Lady Slippers have been featured in Southern Living Magazine.
