FICTION WITH A TOUCH OF SOUTH!
I have always loved butterflies. They are so beautiful, yet they have struggled to obtain that beauty. All the time, effort and struggle that it takes to go from caterpillar to butterfly is well worth the end result. I feel I am still in my caterpillar phase and I'm looking forward to someday being a butterfly! In the meantime I want to enjoy the journey. FICTION WITH A TOUCH OF SOUTH!
I'm so glad you shared these. I lived in Athens for ten years and loved he botanical gardens there and loved to go to Calloway Gardens for a day or weekend. We loved to hike the AT and other places in the mountains too. Actually, we loved living in Georgia, but all our family was in KY and that drew us back home when the time was right. Love your pictures! Jackie
Deb, Thanks for coming by my Web site today to read my blog. How sweet of you to take the time to peruse it.
I love yours too. Consider this my entry to win your book. Its looks like a great read.
I see you love To Kill a Mockingbird. I read the book for the first time last year. Wow, Harper Lee is an incredible writer. I believe, semi-seriously, that she and I might be related...or, Atticus and I are. (I do realize the book is fictional.) Atticus's last name is Finch, which was my grandmother's maiden name and she too descended from Cornwall, England, as Harper did. I am thinking there might be a connnection, yes? :)
What beautiful pictures! Thanks for sharing.
